Removalists in Asquith
Asquith is the ring's most honest mix: roughly three units for every two houses. One suburb, both kinds of move, sometimes in the same job.
Two suburbs wearing one name
Around the station and along the highway, Asquith is walk-ups and newer apartment blocks on streets like Amor Street and Dudley Street: lift-and-lobby territory where the apartment crew's habits earn their keep. Turn up Chelmsford Road and it becomes single-storey brick houses with proper backyards, where the questions are driveway, carry path and which door the fridge leaves by.
That mix makes Asquith the natural home of the move that changes type mid-morning: out of a unit, into a house four streets away. Both doors get read before the day; that is the whole point of the Two Doors Check.
The practical bits
- Unit moves run the 2-mover crew at $250 an hour; family houses run the 3-mover crew at $350, straight off the published card.
- Within-the-ring drives are minutes: Hornsby is one stop down the line, Mount Colah one up. The drive between doors barely registers in an hourly move.
- Lease deadlines, lift bookings and where-does-the-truck-stand questions all go on the form, and the callback comes with them already thought through.
