Removalists in Thornleigh and Normanhurst
South of Hornsby the ridge quietens down: Thornleigh runs about two houses to every unit, Normanhurst sits close behind, and Westleigh, tucked behind them both, is almost nothing but houses on cul-de-sacs.
The southern ridge, street by street
These are settled streets, Bellevue Street, Begonia Road and their neighbours, where a move is usually a family changing size in one direction or the other. Thornleigh's townhouse pockets add a wrinkle the pure house suburbs do not have: internal stairs, shared driveways and visitor parking that fills by 8am. We ask, so none of it surprises anyone on the day.
Westleigh deserves its own line: a suburb of cul-de-sacs like Billarga Road where the truck often noses in and works from the turning circle. It is five minutes from Thornleigh and part of the same run.
The moves we see most
- House to house within the ridge, the growing-family shuffle, usually the 3-mover crew at $350 an hour.
- Townhouse moves where stairs set the pace; hourly means we count them honestly, and the Two Doors Check reads them in advance.
- Moves down the line, toward Ku-ring-gai schools or the city, where the drive between doors is the only real distance in the day.
The practical bits
Rates come straight off the published card, and the estimate lands in the callback with reasons attached. Start on the form, or read the rate guide first if you like your numbers explained before you hand over a phone number.
