Waitara is the most apartment-dense square kilometre on our whole run: close to nine in ten addresses are units. Moving here is a building game, and we play it well.
What a Waitara move usually looks like
A two-bedder on Alexandria Parade or Balmoral Street, a lift that needs booking, a loading area with a time limit, and a lease date that does not negotiate. The crew that does this well is the one that has stood in that exact lobby before: pads up in the lift, boxes staged by the door, one continuous run so the booked window is never wasted.
The streets tell the story: Edgeworth David Avenue, Clarke Road, Leonard Street and the blocks around the station are lined with walk-ups and newer towers rather than driveways. That is why our apartment crew exists as its own service, not a shrunken house move.
The moves we see most
- End-of-lease moves against a bond clean and a key handover, planned backwards from the deadline.
- The step-up: out of a Waitara unit, into a house in Hornsby Heights, Mount Colah or Thornleigh. One morning, two completely different doors; it is the move our Two Doors Check was built for.
- Downsizes into Waitara, often from the big Ku-ring-gai houses just south, where the challenge is what fits in the new floor plan and the lift.
